The shortest day

So we have already reached the theoretical middle of the year. I feel it should have more significance than just a log entry on a particularly cold and rainy day.

I spoke to day yesterday and considering the fact that he has just had major surgery he sounded really well, miserable and sore but well enough to moan anyway.

I have the dreaded x-ray to face on Monday and have decided to announce total separation from my body for the duration. I will take up residence elsewhere and return once dignity has been restored. I remember the story of the lady who firmly pulled a pillow case over her head and then announced from the depths that the Gynae could now start his investigations and let her know when he was finished and she was once again decently covered... I must remember the pillow case.

My application for the e-learning fellowship is basically done as is the other bit of paperwork which is due on Friday. I might just deliver it in person..hmmmm.

As for the lit review.. well yes everything in good time I say.
