We are so lucky to be living in a first world country which is comparitively well run, by a forward looking government. We have an excellent standard of living and are well rewarded for the work we do.
Yes the climate is hugely changeable, and in winter simply awful, but today the sun is shining, the sky is clear blue and tomorrow is Saturday Hooray!
I took this picture at Uluru when I got to go there last year, I really am a lucky man!

Interesting blog :-) You started blogging in March 2005, that's a long time ago - i don't think i even heard about blogging back then - that was also the year i joined the senior syndicate...so i may have been caught up with work as usual!!
Anyhow, i wanted to say thank you for the lovely comment on my class blog - we all miss you too, KRS is not the same without you - i mean it!
And finally, i would like to see you updating your blogs regularly from now on as I have subscribed to your feed...your last blog was dated march 2007 - not good!
So get on and start blogging again!
