Happiness not eternally elusive

It always amazes me how fast time seems to fly. Looking at this blog I suddenly see that I haven't posted for over a month, and what a neat month it has been.

There have been 'moments of extreme interest' like being stranded on a service station forecourt in Manakau on a cold blustery winter's night in a kilt. Or the subsequent bill for hundreds which has I fear, added another nail in the Blue bastard's coffin. The weather has been pretty shocking too with floods, snow and some of the coldest temperatures in years.

On the home front though things are toasty warm. Greg has moved in and after a small amount of re organisation we are settling into a new routine really smoothly. It is a real treat to no longer feel alone. The kids are wonderful, S particularly is a changed boy now that he has settled in at his new school. It is really great to see him blossoming and flexing his wings. It is going to be good for J too, but right now though she is feeling the absence of her sidekick.

Work.. well it's work isn't it. The people are great and the routine is continuing pretty much uninterrupted and yes, they keep on paying me..tonight in fact..hooray.

More soon..
