Some more silliness

I wrote these while we were doing a poetry unit last year. I think the kids in my class were slightly confused at their strange teacher chuckling away to himself as he scribbled madly on scraps of paper.

A flaxen haired lassie called Daisy
Had thoughts that often were hazy
Once this dizzy blonde,
Parked her car in a pond,
Her husband went totally crazy.

A Citroen driver named Pete
Had hideously disfigured feet
luckily his French car
had pedals not far
From its deeply upholstered front seat.

An automobile collector named Peter
Had a garage that couldn’t be neater
But into this shrine
With a spit and a whine
Drove the nemesis of all panel beaters

An eager young chappie called White
Longed for hydro-pneumatic ride height
So he bought a GS
Now his place is a mess
As he tackles the rust bite by bite
